The CFCs that penetrated the subsoil led to the formation of a pollutant plume that is currently approx. 1,700 m long and approx. 200 m wide and extends over the Upper Aquifer and the Middle Aquifer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four remediation plants with currently 9 remediation wells are operated throughout the city of Walldorf. Depending on the remediation configuration, up to 150 m\u00b3\/h of water is extracted and purified using activated carbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Remediation monitoring:&nbsp;<\/strong>Sampling and key date measurements at over 100 control levels, plant control, analysis, documentation of the remediation process, preparation of groundwater levelling plans<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Regular remediation optimisations based on monitoring and investigation campaigns:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Isotope content determinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trace gas analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Studies on mass transfer OGWL \/ MGWL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigation of the biodegradation of the pollutants (incl. own laboratory tests)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Further procedure for the optimisation of GW extraction and the investigation of the interaction between OGWL and MGWL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Construction of deep wells<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depth-horizontal power pumping tests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tracer trials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of a 3D groundwater model<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"template":"","company-group":[58],"project-category":[54],"class_list":["post-20589","projects","type-projects","status-publish","hentry","company-group-mup-umwelttechnik","project-category-hydrogeologie-sanierung"],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/20589","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20589"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"company-group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/company-group?post=20589"},{"taxonomy":"project-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mup-ibl.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project-category?post=20589"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
